GRAINSTORE will accept all hybrids of yellow corn that have received regulatory approval for food and feed use in the United States and Japan, and received regulatory approval for feed use in the European Union. As it may be necessary for us to segregate GMO varieties not yet approved for export to the European Union for food use, we require that you notify us of such varieties prior to unloading at our facilities.
A list of EU non-approved varieties may be found on the National Corn Growers Association website (www.ncga.com). Please note that this list is continually updated as approval status changes.
GRAINSTORE will NOT accept Starlink corn. We will NOT accept Syngenta Agrisure Rootworm event biotechnology enhanced corn because it has NOT obtained regulatory approval for food or feed use in Japan and other U.S. export markets. Agrisure Rootworm TM is sold in NK Brand, Garst and Golden Harvest varieties. |
